There are four components to effective task management: expenditure, schedule, time and producing a satisfactory result. Qualified PMs also aim at making the organization of work better. Look at your project and you will observe that it requires people, finance and machinery to produce satisfactory results. Project tracking software might not be suitable in 100 percent of all cases. It produces the greatest value when used for several large projects. Little projects can be supervised using a spreadsheet program which allows you to save on overhead costs of managing fairy complicated software.
